I was commissioned to document the  last-surviving, purpose-built bell foundry in the UK, for Discover Britain magazine.  This traditional foundry keeps the sound of its bells pealing all over the world. With origins that can be traced back to the 14th century, John Taylor& Co has created and hung more than 25,000 bells. I didn’t even know this craft still existed, I was so impressed by the skill and dedication of the people I photographed.
